Dr. Steven Trauben, DC, became an Alexandria chiropractor because he too was helped by a doctor of chiropractic. In his early twenties, Dr. Trauben was moving some furniture when he felt excruciating back pain. He took pain-killers and anti-inflammatory pills, and the pain temporarily went away (sound familiar). He went to a chiropractor and started to feel better after a few visits. He was also getting debilitating headaches and no doctors were able to figure out the cause. The doctor was able to help him with them as well. This was a life-changing experience for Dr. Trauben and he was truly impressed by the effectiveness of chiropractic care.
